Training Calendar: WSDS & Others

Following is a listing of upcoming state/regional training events on topics relating to hearing loss, vision impairment, or deaf-blindness. These are sponsored by WSDS or by other state agencies and programs serving children/youth with sensory disabilities in the state of Washington. In general, only those considered "open" to participants statewide are listed.

Time: Regstration from 1:00-3:00 PM  
Title: Summer Institute for Educator’s
Instructors (Facilitator): Washington State School for the Blind campus – Clock hours and Credit’s offered through Seattle Pacific University
Target Audience: Anybody who works w/ VI or blind children in public school and has had limited experience or education in the field of blindness.  Typically participants include: teachers (classroom and special education), paraprofessionals, OT, PT and speech and language specialists, administrators, school psychologists and other related service personnel.

Target Audience: For families with infants and toddlers who are blind or visually impaired and their brothers and sisters.
