Open Hands, Open Access – 2018 Winter/Spring Series

The OHOA Deaf-Blind Intervener Learning Modules are a national online resource designed to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills related to intervention for students who are deaf-blind. Come join the Washington Cohort series which is tailored specifically for our State’s unique needs. These training modules are free, self-paced, and offer clock hours.

Who Should Participate:

  • Paraeducators
  • Teachers, TVIs and TODs
  • Special Education administrators who want to learn more about preparing paraeducators to work with children with complex needs, including vision and hearing loss
  • Preschool Transition Coordinators
  • Parents of children with complex needs, including vision and hearing loss
  • OTs, PTs, SLPs

The WA Cohort modules are offered in a series twice a school year,  fall and winter. Each series is comprised of four to five modules and runs approximately three weeks for each module.  Click the following helpful links for current information about OHOA:
